Orange Mugs: Types of mugs

Drink your favourite beverages from your favourite mug. Find out all about the types of mugs you can have here at Orange Mugs. The first type of mug is … A Glass Mug!

Why not? A glass mug is perfect for a hot drink or a cold drink, especially if you have any sort of dish or soup problem like I do. I’m such a mess sometimes (most times) that I often forget to eat properly before going to a party or a social event. This means that I have to spend a lot of time trying to get food into me. You know what? It really sucks! It’s not fair! It’s not right! For example, there was this one guy who wanted to meet me at a party. He said he would bring a whole bunch of food. He did bring a bunch of food. But guess what? He only brought enough food for one person. And that person happened to be me. And guess what else? He only gave me enough food for me to get me going. And then he disappeared and left me stuck there with nothing but a bunch of people staring at me as I ate everything in front of me. It’s not fair! But anyway, when it comes to drinking, a glass mug is perfect for a hot drink or a cold drink. But what about … A Plastic Mug?

Second is the standard mug which comes in a variety of different sizes and shapes. The next type of mug is what I call a travel mug. These are the kind with a little spout thingy that you screw off or on to the top of the mug to either drink from or to store hot liquids in. Then there are the thermos-type mugs, the ones that actually have a little plastic cap you pull off and then you insert the top of the mug into the top of the plastic cap. Next we have the sports bottle-type mugs. These have a little screw top and a long slender neck that holds a special type of sports bottle. The bottom part of the neck has a small opening which allows air to enter the bottle so it doesn’t explode. This is a very handy mug for runners because you can carry water with you in a sports bottle and sip from this mug instead of continually having to stop to drink from a canteen or bottle. The last type of mug I want to discuss here is the coffee mug. You can get these in a variety of different sizes and shapes and they all have one thing in common: They all have a handle!
